Examples of the work
Before you send me anything, here's what you'd get back. Each example uses a real public tender or a question buyers ask all the time. Where a firm is needed, it's invented, and anything only you could know is left in [square brackets].
Free
- A go/no-go check: a £20,000 park footpath job for Swanley Town Council. What it asks for, what the buyer paid for similar work, the risks, and a verdict.
- Answering a market engagement survey: Sanctuary Care's window and gutter cleaning survey, question by question. Ten minutes that can shape the tender before it's written.
- Checking a re-tender of your own contract: South Yorkshire Fire's rescue boat training. The old contract against the new tender, where the marks are, and a plan to the deadline.
- The 10-minute checklist: the twelve questions I ask of every tender, so you can run them yourself.
First drafts (bid help)
The go/no-go check is always free. The first two full drafts I write are free too, in return for honest feedback. After that, drafts are a fixed price agreed before I start. How bid help works.
Got a tender in mind? Send me the link and a line about your firm, and I'll start with the go/no-go.
